Diamond Bones – “The Garden” {Electropop}

October 18, 2012 in Electro, Electronic, Electropop, Indie by Rex

Montreal has always been considered Canada’s epicenter for our thriving indie/electronic music scene, and Diamond Bones are no exception.

Even though they just formed this past year, the trio (consisting of Isabelle Banos, Michelle Bensimon and Lana Cooney) are already being praised for their electrifying live performances and “dark disco” sound. The strength in their synthy-sound channels a mean Metric/Beat Connection/M83/Austra vibe, but their influences range from everyone to Karen O and Fleetwood Mac, to Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin.

They recently performed at the St. Ambroise Fringe Festival in Montreal, and they are currently prepping for a tour around Eastern Canada which starts in Montreal on October 25th; (more details after the jump).

“The Garden” is a builder of a track off their new Chandeliers EP (released this past May) and you can purchase it for as little as $5 CAD via their Bandcamp page.
