If you’re a fan of the Black Lips, Brian Jonestown Massacre, or any 60s revival, garage or psych rock band for that matter, then you should definitely give these guys a listen.

The Pharmacy formed back in 2002 by high school buddies Scott Yoder and Brendhan Bowers; (although pianist Stefan Rubicz joined the line-up soon after).By 2005, the group started touring around the U.S. as a backing band for Kimya Dawson (of Moldy Peaches), and since then have toured to 18 different countries.

The band just released their fourth album Stoned & Alone, which was produced by Brandon Eggleston (Modest Mouse, tUnE-yArDs, Les Savy Fav), and parts of the album were recorded at Seattle’s Soundhouse Studio using Nirvana’s Twin Reverb amp. And if that isn’t cool enough, the band also recorded some of the piano parts in a Methodist Church in Washington, during which the members stumbled upon the priest’s weed stash behind the pulpit.

“Dig Your Grave” and “Pines” are two singles off Stoned & Alone, and both of the videos were directed and edited by Brendhan Bowers.
