Pennsylvania’s Hearing Colors have just revealed the first single off their new EP Sri Yantra.

The four-piece consists of Elijah Reeder on vocals and guitar, Dustin Miller on guitar, Ari Rosenberg on bass and Kevin Miller on drums, and their sound is comparable to indie rock masters like Two Door Cinema Club and Modest Mouse, and features a combination of a little post-rock, some noise pop, and even some “sludgy blues rock” and jazz.

Sri Yantra was recorded, mixed and produced by Bill Moriarty (who has previously worked with Dr. Dog, Toy Soldiers, Tall Tall Trees and Lotus), and even features an appearance from The Philadelphia String Quartet.

The band will be performing at The Legendary Dobbs in Philadelphia on August 24th, but for now we invite you to check out the EP’s debut single below, which is currently available as a free download.
